Your sponsorship and participation will help to fund vital medical research projects and help children battling Sanfilippo.
The Sanfilippo Children's Foundation was established in 2013 with the purpose of driving medical research into the fatal childhood disease, Sanfilippo Syndrome. Children with the condition have a life expectancy of 12-20 years.
There is no cure, or approved treatments. Since the Foundation's inception, it has funded 18 different research projects including a pioneering gene therapy clinical trial currently underway at the Women's and Children's Hospital in Adelaide.
