My target 155 kms
Thank you to my sponsors!
So, I made it to the end of May, having walked 155km across the month. It was a huge challenge made harder by getting sick in the middle of the month, but I still achieved my walking goal.ÂLast day of May tomorrow!
I only have one more day of the walk 5k a day challenge. Tomorrow I need just over 5km to reach the goal of 155km across the month of May. It's not too late to donate. The families living with Sanfilippo will benefit from your generosity. Two days to go!
It's not too late to donate if you were planning to support the Sanfilippo Children's Foundation through the challenge I have been completing. Â I have been walking 5km a day throughout May to raise funds for vital research into this rare childhood dementia condition.ÂOnly a week to go!
I am working hard in the final week of May to compensate for lost kms due to illness. I am about 70% towards the walking target of 155 km in May, and at $1001, I am just over halfway towards my goal of $2000 raised. Please keep supporting me. If you haven't donated yet, it is definitely not too late. All amounts are appreciated and will go a long way towards supporting research into this rare childhood dimentia disease.Resilience after illness
Hey everyone who is supporting me for the 5km in May challenge. I was on track until a week ago when I got sick. Despite a severe cold, I have managed one or two of kms most days, but I'm now gearing up to get back on top of my target. Thank you to all my amazing sponsors. I am about halfway in both kms and $, but we are more than halfway through May. So please sponsor me if you haven't already. The research into Sanfilippo Syndrome is vital for the children afflicted with this disease, not to mention their families.Beautiful weather for walking
The weather has been great over the last 9 days while I have been walking at least 5km every day. I'm so grateful for the fine weather and your generous support. I have raised over $450 to support the Sanfilippo Children's Foundation and the valuable research they do. My goal is $2000 by the end of May.ÂOn track
I am continuing to meet my 5km a day target. Today, John and I walked 6km at Braeside Park. Please donate to support my efforts.Day 1 of 5km a day in May
So I made it! Day one is complete at just over 5km. Please get behind me and support me as I continue to aim to walk at least 5km every day. Every donation will help vital research into Sanfilippo Syndrome.ÂI am fundraising for a future without Sanfilippo Syndrome
I am doing 5km a Day in May to support the work of Sanfilippo Children’s Foundation! It's going to be a big challenge. But it's nothing compared to the challenge facing kids with Sanfilippo.
Your donation will fund vital research projects that show real promise in halting the progression of the disease; repairing damage caused by the condition; or improving the quality of life for children suffering from Sanfilippo.
All donations over AU $2 are fully tax deductible.
Thanks so much for your support.
