Why the Sanfilippo cause?
As the mother of a 16 year old I find it inconceivable that many children with Sanfilippo syndrome will not reach this age. I can’t even begin to imagine what the families face. But it is an exciting time to be involved in the cause as there is hope for a cure and I can’t wait to live in a world where there is no such thing as Sanfilippo.

How are you inspired by the work of the Foundation?
The drive and collaboration of the research team is just so inspiring and the ongoing search for life saving treatment for this rare condition is motivation to achieve great things as part of the Sanfilippo Children’s Foundation team.

Which value do you bring to our team?
Thinking outside the box. I enjoy brainstorming creative ideas and always look for ways to improve.
