Why the Sanfilippo cause?

I am passionate about the Sanfilippo cause because I want to make a difference in the lives of children and families affected by this devastating condition. I have seen firsthand how Sanfilippo syndrome robs children of their abilities and memories, such as singing their favourite songs. But I also have hope that we can find a cure, thanks to the advances in science and technology that open new doors for innovation.

My message to the Australian community is that the Sanfilippo Children's Foundation is a vital force for change in the field of rare diseases. We fund cutting-edge research that has the potential to save lives and improve outcomes for children with Sanfilippo. How are you inspired by the work of the Foundation?
I am inspired by the work of the Foundation because it shows the power of collective action and compassion. The Foundation was born out of the determination and courage of families who wanted to make a difference for their children and others. They support each other and work together to achieve a common goal.

What makes you happy/ what makes you sad?

What makes me happy is spending time with my loved ones and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. What makes me sad is seeing injustice and inequality in the world that prevent people from reaching their full potential.
