Why the Sanfilippo cause?

I am passionate about the Sanfilippo cause because I want to make a difference in the lives of children and families affected by this devastating condition. I have seen firsthand how Sanfilippo syndrome robs children of their abilities and memories, such as singing their favourite songs. But I also have hope that we can find a cure, thanks to the advances in science and technology that open new doors for innovation.

What's your message to the wider Australian community about the work of the Sanfilippo Children's Foundation?

My message to the Australian community is that the Sanfilippo Children's Foundation is a vital force for change in the field of rare diseases. We fund cutting-edge research that has the potential to save lives and improve outcomes for children with Sanfilippo. We need your support to continue this work and to give hope to families around the world who are facing this challenge.

How are you inspired by the work of the Foundation?
I am inspired by the work of the Foundation because it shows the power of collective action and compassion. The Foundation was born out of the determination and courage of families who wanted to make a difference for their children and others. They support each other and work together to achieve a common goal.

What makes you happy/ what makes you sad?

What makes me happy is spending time with my loved ones and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. What makes me sad is seeing injustice and inequality in the world that prevent people from reaching their full potential.

Which value do you bring to our team?

The value that I bring to our team is collaboration. I believe that we can achieve more by working together than by working alone. I value diversity, respect, and communication in our team.

What is your favourite motivational quote?
My favourite motivational quote is 'Be the change you want to see in the world.' It reminds me that I have the power and responsibility to make a positive impact on myself and others.
