A W Edwards digs deep for kids with Sanfilippo
The Sanfilippo Children’s Foundation is delighted to be working with A W Edwards as a charity partner for some of its current construction projects.
A W Edwards is a leading, privately owned construction and fitout business established in 1921. The company focuses on projects in NSW and has offices in both Sydney and Port Macquarie.
Two years ago A W Edwards supported the Sanfilippo Children's Foundation at its annual Charity Shield
Barefoot Bowls Competition raising an outstanding $90,000 for the Foundation, research dollars that
have helped fund vital research projects. View photos from this fantastic event here.
A W Edwards will once again be calling on its employees, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to get onboard and help make a difference with a series of small fundraisers scheduled for 2017.
To kick off this partnership, a little ‘construction enthusiast’, Jude Donnell (aged 5), who is battling Sanfilippo Syndrome, visited a construction site in Penrith, Sydney.
Thank you to the A W Edwards team for inviting Jude and his ‘Ma-Maa’, Evelyn Maack, to visit the site. It was an unforgettable experience for Jude, who got to meet the workers, sit on a “digger”, and wear his very own hard hat.
Thank you also to the wonderful David Oliver from our MPS family for his introduction to A W Edwards. David knows all too well of the challenges of living with MPS (the group of diseases of which Sanfilippo Syndrome is just one).
